Potitical Cartoons
These two confederation cartoons have underlying messages. The underlying message of the first cartoon is that Canada is a bilingual country so the people that dod speak french were fighting about confederation. In the second cartoon it is showing all of the taxes that Canada made when we joined into one country.
The Artist in both do not have a favourable opinion in confederation because the one artist is saying that there are to many taxes and the other artist is saying that the French speacking people argued alot about confederation.
Unnecessary Use of Water
This is a presentation that i made in class with the Renae, Lauren, and Kristen. It is our ideas about what we think we can do about the problem.
The Atlanic Conveyor Belt
The Atlanic Conveyor belt is just a saying for what happens in the Atlantic Ocean. Salt water is heavier than fresh water, so that means that salt water is closer to the bottom of the ocean. When the water is in the tropical area then the water will have more salt in the water because some fresh water will get evaporated and the water will get warmer here. When the water moves closer to polar regions then there is less salt in the water due to glaciers melting and then the water gets colder here. When the water cools off then it moves back to the tropics to get warmer. Then it repeats.
World’s Largest Problem
I think that the world’s largest problem is the population because it will affect people in the future.
Interview
In history Renae and I had to make an interview with a person that was in Canadian history. We decided to do an interview with John A. MacDonald so you can go ahead and listen if you want. I was the interviewer and Renae was John A. MacDonald.

Thye Hunger Games
I am excited for the Hunger Games movie to come out! I think that these Sience fiction books are so good. On March 23 the movie is released and I am going to see it. I hope that you read the book serise just like I did and I is an amazing book. All three books are great, The hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay.
I hope that you read the book and go see the movie. Hope you will enjoy it just as much as I will.
The Bucket List
Here is a slam poem that I wrote and I hope you enjoy.
What do you want to do before you die?
Visit the wonders of the World,
Win the lottery,
Raise money for cancer.
No matter what you want to do it will be different for everyone,
Maybe someone may want to become the strongest
And someone may want to solve a math expression, the longest.
So try and think of ten things you want to do before you die,
Maybe bake the largest pie.
Pick ten things you would never do in your life.
Ten things you want to achieve.
Do you want to skydive?
Or make your own board game,
Do you want to become famous?
Do something dangerous,
Whatever you would like to do!
Here is what is on my bucket list,
One, hold my breath for five minutes,
Two, go to Europe,
Three, win the lottery,
Four, go water skiing,
Five, go scuba diving in Jamaica,
Six, swim with sharks and not die,
Seven, go to the Olympics,
Eight, walk on the moon,
Nine, make it in to the world record book,
Ten, get to grade eight piano.

We Bought a Zoo
The target audience for the movie “We Bought a Zoo” is for more ages 8 plus. This was a very touching story but it has to be for this age group because they need to be able to follow the story line in order for it to make the same impact it did on me as it will on them. It is about this family of a father, son, and younger daughter, but the mother passed away. The dad feels like they need to get away from their old house in order for them to move on from the mother passing away. When the father tells his children that they are moving he did not get the reaction he wanted to get from the son. They move anyway and have the adventure of a life time. If you would like to find out what happens then I recommend you watching this movie.
This made an impact in my life because it teaches the viewers that you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it. They managed the zoo and they had fun as a family. It made their family come closer. This is an inspirational movie and I recommend this movie, it is amazing. I give this movie 5 stars.
